Accessibility
We build this site to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Here is where that stands, and how to tell us when it does not work.
Latifi Fencing wants this site to work for everyone who needs a fence, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier, or voice control.
The standard we build to
We are building this site to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
That is the target, not a finished result. No independent accessibility audit has been carried out on this site, and we are not claiming full conformance with the standard. We are telling you what we are aiming at, and how to tell us when we have missed.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort here. The site changes as we add work and pages, and every change is another chance to get it wrong, so this is something we keep doing rather than something we finished.
What that means in practice
As we build and add to the site, we work to:
- keep the page structure meaningful, so a screen reader announces headings, lists and landmarks in a sensible order
- make everything reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are
- give every meaningful image a text description, and keep decorative images out of the reading order
- keep text far enough apart from its background, in contrast, to stay readable
- let text be enlarged and the page zoomed without content overlapping or disappearing
- label every form field, and say plainly what went wrong when a form will not submit
- avoid anything that flashes, or that moves without a way to stop it
Where we know we fall short
Being straight about the gaps:
- The site has not been through a formal accessibility audit, so there are almost certainly problems we have not found yet.
- Photographs of finished work carry short descriptions. A caption cannot convey everything in a picture of a completed fence.
- Content embedded from other companies, a map for instance, is outside our control, and we cannot promise it meets the same standard.
We fix what gets reported, and we re-check a page when we change it.
Tell us when something does not work
If any part of this site stops you getting what you came for, tell us. Say which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead. If it helps, mention the browser or the assistive technology you use, because it makes the problem much faster to find.

Email: armend@latififencing.com
We will reply as quickly as we can. And if the website is the thing in your way, we will take your details and quote the job over the phone instead. Nobody should have to fight a web page to get a fence priced.
